Windows Sandbox is a new feature from Windows 10 to help Windows Users run untrusted applications in a virtual environment. Windows Sandbox itself is like running another Windows 10 inside your PC but it's on a virtual machine.
The feature makes it possible to safely run unknown (any application for that matter) in isolation. With Windows Sandbox, any aktivitas that running through it cannot affect Windows Operating System Host. It includes both data & the system itself. And when you close Windows Sandbox, All programs inside it will automatically wiped out from your PC which means all changes are not saved when you exit the Windows Sandbox.
Windows Sandbox only available in Windows 10 Pro & Enterprise. Windows 10 Home won't get Windows Sandbox, however you can use other third-party software like Sandboxie if you want to run Sandbox Environment inside your Windows 10 Home.
With default settings, Windows Sandbox feature is turned off. You can use this step to enable Windows Sandbox Feature in your Windows 10. But remember, you need to have minimum requirements to run Windows Sandbox otherwise it won't work.
Windows Sandbox Minimum Requirements :
- Windows 10 Pro / Enterprise Build 18305 (version 1903) or Later.
- 4 GB of RAM.
- 1 GB of free disk space.
- Processor with Virtualization Support.
How To Enable Or Disable Windows Sandbox In Windows 10
1. Type Appwiz.cpl taskbar search and hit the Enter key to open Programs and Features window.
2. Look at the left-panel of Programs and Features window, now click Turn Windows features on or off .
3. Now, search the Windows Sandbox entry, if you wish to enable the Sandbox, just check the Windows Sandbox and click OK.

If you want to disable Windows Sandbox, do the same steps above and uncheck the box next to it and then click on the OK button and restart your PC to take effect.
